Every so often I come across artwork that completely reinvigorates the artist inside of me. Maybe half a dozen times a year. Like a swift kick to the gut, it's a humbling experience—it reminds me that I have a lot to learn. Tonight I discovered Aaron Renier. He's a cartoonist with the greatest attention to brush stroke, line-weight, and composition—and he has a wonderful knack for character design. When you get a second, be sure to hop by his website.
