Appleinsider has a great breakdown and analysis of Amazon's new Kindle eBook reader. A lot of comparisons have been made to Apple's iPod domination of the mp3 market. Only thing is that there really isn't an eBook market yet.

Someone once said the ultimate test for any ebook device is - can you take it to the beach? I think the real trick is not what the device looks like, but how easily it works. The fact that so many people are focusing on the screen and the brightness probably means it's not working well enough yet.
